The Adelaide Wants Their Team Back Working Group exists to coordinate, strengthen, and lead community-driven efforts to re-establish a professional NRL team in South Australia. The group provides structure, strategy, and representation for supporters and stakeholders who share this goal.
2. Objectives
Advocate for the return of an Adelaide-based NRL team through evidence-based research, community mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement.
Promote and preserve the history of the Adelaide Rams as an important part of South Australia’s sporting identity.
Build partnerships with local clubs, schools, businesses, media and sporting organisations to grow rugby league participation and visibility.
Develop and present a compelling case for NRL expansion in South Australia, including market analysis, fan engagement data, and commercial opportunities.
Support initiatives that strengthen rugby league pathways, including junior development, coaching programs, and community events.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and professional public presence that reflects the values of the working group and its supporters.
3. Membership
Membership is open to individuals who support the mission and values of the working group.
Members may contribute through volunteering, research, outreach, media engagement, event support, or other activities aligned with the group’s objectives.
