Adelaide Wants Their Team Back is a community‑driven working group committed to restoring elite rugby league to South Australia. Our mission is built on passion, evidence, and a clear plan for long‑term success. These goals guide our work and reflect the voice of supporters across the state.

1. Unite and Grow the Adelaide Rugby League Community

We aim to build a strong, visible supporter base that demonstrates Adelaide’s readiness for an NRL team. Through membership, events, and partnerships, we bring fans together and amplify their voice.

2. Advocate for Adelaide’s Return to the NRL

Our group develops a professional, data‑driven case for expansion. We engage with the NRL, SA Government, Adelaide Oval, and potential investors to ensure Adelaide is firmly on the national agenda.

3. Strengthen Rugby League Pathways in South Australia

We work with local clubs, schools, and development programs to grow participation and create clear pathways for SA players to reach elite levels.

4. Build a Credible Blueprint for a Future Adelaide NRL Team

From branding and identity to financial modelling and stadium planning, we are shaping a realistic, compelling proposal for a sustainable Adelaide franchise.

5. Celebrate and Preserve Adelaide’s Rugby League History

We honour the legacy of the Adelaide Rams and the many people who built rugby league in SA. By preserving stories, archives, and memories, we connect past passion with future ambition.

6. Engage Local Businesses and Partners

We seek commercial support that demonstrates Adelaide’s economic strength and readiness for expansion. Sponsorship interest, business networks, and community partnerships all help build momentum.

7. Lead Public Campaigns That Keep Adelaide in the National Conversation

Through media engagement, social campaigns, and public advocacy, we ensure Adelaide’s bid remains visible, credible, and impossible to ignore.
